Charlotte is an award-winning documentary filmmaker. She produces, directs and shoots films for the BBC, Channel 4, CNN and the United Nations. Her films cover a range of subjects, from her renowned and groundbreaking political portrait of William Hague, Just William… and Ffion, to her BBC film Schoolgirl Killer, on rape and abduction in Ethiopia. Other subjects have included the collapse of Enron and American corporate greed, 9/11, globalisation, polygamy in Nigeria, famine, child brides and the Red Terror in Ethiopia, female genital mutilation in Uganda and Somalia, cholera, AIDS in Zambia and India, the ageing population of Japan, multi-culturalism, policing and crime in Britain and, on a lighter note, drag queens, the demise of Fleet Street and Born Again Christians.
She now continues to make corporate films (one recently for Bibendum wine) and writes for newspapers and magazines including The Spectator, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph, The Times, Tatler and Country & Town House.
