Rosalind has been a freelance journalist since 1989, writing about property, interiors, travel and shopping for The London Evening Standard, Sunday Mirror, Daily Telegraph, Country Homes & Interiors, The Independent, Financial Times and The Sunday Times, among others. She was previously a staff writer on the Evening Standard for six years, as deputy editor of the Ad Lib column (celebrity and pop gossip and rock concert reviews) and then as deputy editor of the Homes & Property section.
Before joining the Standard, she was a music writer for various rock and pop publications, having begun her career with the now iconic Jackie Magazine. She has won several awards for property writing, and a Silver Quill Award, nominated by the Scottish Law Society, for a criminal justice feature in the Scotsman. Her interests include painting, books, gardening, shopping and horses, and she drives a very cute Fiat 500 convertible (cherry red with ivory trim).
