Hi Richard,

Good article. I completely agree that as the paradigm shifts from shoe boxes containing letters and drawers full of photo albums being left behind, to online social profiles, there is an inherent danger that much of the evidence of our existence is at the mercy of a server administrator’s finger hovering above a ‘Delete’ key.

I wrote a blog yesterday about how people can take control of their social content and safeguard their digital legacy so that it will remain for their friends and family to look back on once they have passed on. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on it:
